The AJAX FIREPROTECT2 (Heat/Smoke) is a wireless smoke and heat detector equipped with state-of-the-art sensors, a dust- and insect-proof smoke chamber, a dual-spectrum optical sensor, and a proprietary algorithm that delivers world-class detection accuracy. The HazeFlow 2 algorithm analyzes the collected data to distinguish smoke from false triggers such as steam or vapor.

Dual Thermistor Heat Sensor

Equipped with two A1R-class thermistors, the detector can detect smoke-free fires. Positioned outside the enclosure, the thermistors immediately register if the temperature rises 50 °F in one minute or exceeds 147 °F, ensuring the fastest response even when the threat builds gradually.

Powerful Alarm and Notifications

An 85 dB siren, two types of interconnection, and instant push notifications in Ajax apps make the alarm impossible to ignore. With careful design, self-monitoring, and early low-battery alerts, the device ensures uninterrupted protection with fewer maintenance visits.

Long Battery Life

The AJAX FIREPROTECT2 (Heat/Smoke) provides up to 10 years of autonomous operation thanks to pre-installed sealed batteries. The actual battery status is always visible in the Ajax app.

Secure Wireless Connectivity

The detector operates at 868 MHz using the bidirectional Jeweller wireless protocol, with an internal antenna and a range of 1,700 m in open space. Communication features block encryption with a floating key to protect all stored and transmitted data.
